Shelly Greving
Owner
Hi, I’m Shelly Greving, a marketing professional with experience in strategic marketing, community revitalization, brand development, and non-traditional marketing and fundraising efforts throughout the state of Iowa and beyond. I launched Emerge Marketing Solutions to achieve my vision of helping revitalize rural Iowa because I recognized the potential for rural businesses, communities, and organizations to attract new audiences and deliver the products, services and quality of life that Iowa is best known for. My assertiveness and can-do spirit is contagious, and our team will inspire and activate your organization to emerge from your comfort zone, strategically explore new opportunities and discover your potential.
Jessie Shiels
Business Development Manager
If you’re interested in working with Emerge Marketing Solutions or curious how we can help your business or organization, I’m your girl! I grew up in Audubon, Iowa, and now live in a farm near Atlantic with my husband, our three boys and ever-changing hoard of animals. I graduated from Iowa State University (go ‘clones!) with degrees in Marketing and Apparel Merchandising, Production and Design. I have cultivated my career working in advertising, in-house corporate marketing, and small business marketing, serving in varying roles from project management, creative services and leadership. With my combined passion for rural revitalization, strategic thinking, relationship skills and marketing toolbox, I am excited to help other companies and organizations to find and capitalize on their full potential through Emerge Marketing Solutions.
Katie Lange
Project Manager
I do all things video, social media, writing, media relations, and project management. I grew up in Manning, Iowa, and now live in Storm Lake with my husband, daughter, & dog! I love the Iowa Hawkeyes, summer, shopping, and traveling. I graduated from The University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications and from Buena Vista University with a master’s degree in organizational leadership. My background includes roles as an Iowa football reporter, a marketing intern at a non-profit, an event planner for the UI journalism school, and an admissions representative at BVU. These experiences have equipped me with a valuable skill set that I love applying to my work with Emerge.
Claire Zaiger
Graphic Designer
If you need something visual created, it will most likely make its way onto my desktop! I grew up in Audubon, Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where I studied graphic design and entrepreneurship. While I design all types of material, I especially enjoy designing brands and logos for small businesses. Outside of work, I love finding the best local coffee shops & breweries with my husband, reading Kristin Hannah books, dreaming up new business ideas, thrifting, picking out my favorite fonts, and spending time outdoors.
Lindsey Funk
Graphic Designer
I’m a graphic/web designer, a wife, and a mom of two amazing boys. I grew up in West Union, Iowa and graduated from Clarke College (University) in Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. I worked for Hy-Vee, Inc. for 10+ years as a designer in their advertising department. For the past 10 years, I have worked for Blue Rock Designs doing web and graphic design. I love everything design, layout and fonts! In my spare-time, I enjoy reading, running, riding my Peloton bike and spending time with my family.
Annie Greve
Creative Specialist
I'm Annie Greve, a Creative Specialist focused on supporting Evolution of the Heartland event planning. I grew up on a farm near Lidderdale, Iowa, and live on a small farm with my family, just a few miles from where I grew up. With 20 years of experience in education, I’ve shifted my focus to helping rural Iowa thrive and finding ways to showcase its unique communities. I also share Ignite: Be the Light products with various businesses and enjoy incorporating my faith into my work. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband, watching our three kids in their activities, reading, refinishing furniture, playing cards, and gardening.
