Client Request: Provide consulting to hire a community coordinator and jump start our community marketing efforts
Emerge Project Support: Facilitated a ‘Huddle Up’ community discussion to determine best ‘Quick Win’ projects to execute. Developed a strategic marketing plan to guide the community and laid the groundwork to hire a community coordinator. Re-applied for Iowa Great Places Designation, applied for multiple grants, and facilitated numerous committee meetings. Developed a ‘Passport to Coon Rapids’ look local incentive program. Facilitated the initial development of a new community website.

Our little town was at a stand still as far as trying to get “things” going. We didn’t have the staff or the knowledge to market the assets our town had to offer. We were so excited to team up with Emerge Marketing and Shelly Greving to assist our leaders in providing them with direction. Emerge Marketing was just what our town needed. Shelly was so easy to work with and her knowledge on rural economic development was impressive.
