The historic Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park features an authentic 1660’s German Hausbarn, a 1910’s Historic Trinity Church, Freedom Rock and the Leet/Hassler Farmstead. The park is full of attractions that are guaranteed to take you back in time to the beautiful German heritage and agricultural roots. Weddings, conferences, private and local events, and live music all happen here. The park offers self-led or guided group tours from May-October.

Emerge has been a dedicated partner to the Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park since 2017. Our journey began with enhancing the park’s digital presence and social media efforts, but has evolved into a comprehensive support system for the dedicated volunteers who bring the park’s vision to life. From developing annual digital marketing plans to managing social media content, Emerge has consistently elevated the park’s marketing strategy. To attract more weddings, we created a Manning wedding guide, a facilities brochure, a pop-up display, and a photo cube for trade shows. Additionally, we designed a website that showcased the park’s rich history while positioning it as a premier wedding and event venue in western Iowa. In 2024, we helped launch the Heritage Horses series featuring the Willow Creek Carriage Classic, developing branding and promotional materials. Emerge’s commitment to the park is evident in our work to enhance its brand identity, create captivating imagery and videos, and improve communication with stakeholders through newsletters, social media, and direct mail campaigns.

Video Series
Emerge played a crucial role in preserving the rich history of the Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park. Recognizing the aging of their volunteer tour guides, the park sought to capture their firsthand accounts before it was too late. Emerge produced a series of self-led videos featuring volunteers sharing personal stories and insights about the park’s history, architecture, and significance. The timely creation of these videos proved invaluable when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, as it allowed the park to remain accessible to visitors while in-person tours were limited. By incorporating QR codes throughout the park, visitors can now scan and access relevant video content, enhancing their experience and deepening their understanding of the park’s heritage. Additionally, the full tour videos are available online, enabling remote visitors to explore the park’s history from the comfort of their own homes.

We were honored to develop the identity for the Heritage Horses Event Series at Manning Hausbarn Heritage Park and thoroughly enjoyed attending the events to capture incredible footage. The work we did included two logo identities and a t-shirt design. We love when our clients think outside the box about their service offerings.
